"Webstart"
is a project carried out from autumn of 2013 to June of 2015, in the framework
of the EU's Lifelong Learning Programme. The participants are social
organisations from Italy, Belgium, Finland, Lithuania, Austria, Poland, Romania
and Turkey.
In the framework of the EU project "webstart", European social
organisations hailing from 8 countries are working on ways to increase the
visibility of their services and products on the Internet. The project aims at
strengthening skills in the field of e-marketing through training courses and
exchange.
Following the kickoff meeting in Ankara (Turkey), the first intensive
training course on the areas of marketing and e-marketing, fund-raising
campaigns and on-line shops was in Rimini (Italy) from 28 April to 2 May, 2014.
The course units are conducted by Centrum
voor Volwassenenonderwijs-Hoger Instituut der Kempen (Belgium) and AVSI
Polska (Poland).
At the meeting in Rimini the Clever
hands Foundation, the representative of Romania, attended by a delegation of 9
people, including 5 disabled beneficiaries of the Clever Hands Foundation.
The
meeting was organised by the association Insieme (Italy). In addition to the training
programme, tours of social organisations, day training centres, youth centres
and residential buildings for people with impairments are part of the agenda.
